What does the automated SEO report check?
Three things Google looks at. Content: how many pages your sitemap lists and how many are new or updated in the last 30 and 90 days. Technical basics: your sitemap, robots.txt, whether your homepage can be indexed, its title, meta description, main heading, canonical tag, structured data and HTTPS. Speed: Google's own Lighthouse test of your homepage on mobile.
How is the grade calculated?
Out of 100 points: 35 for content, 35 for the technical basics and 30 for mobile speed. A is 85 or more, B 70 or more, C 55 or more, D 40 or more, F below 40. If Google's speed test does not finish, the grade is worked out from the other two parts.
Why does the report count new pages?
Every useful page is another search your business can show up for. A site that adds new pages regularly gives Google, and Google's AI answers, more reasons to show it. A site that has not changed in months gives them none.
